Don’t go here unless you want to be overcharged. We got a pitchers THE WEAKEST margaritas ever bc she said they would be half price due to happy hour then when the Bill came she said oops you added strawberry so they won’t be. then said to bad even though she said they would be. a side it sour cream.which was MAYBE half an ounce was $1.50. Food is greasy and service is horrible. definently will not be going back.
Absolutely a must try, especially if you think americanized mexican is really good (El Rancho, El Toro, ect). This is real deal mexican/south american cuisine!
Great tacos. Sample them all, they are delicious
Loved it. Very fresh, inexpensive, and tasty. Only downside was the grease, but that is to be expected with Mexican fare. Good service. We’ll be back.
I am not Mexican but have eaten at & reviewed number of Mexican restaurants located in a wide swathe of territory from Cancun to Texas to California to Pennsylvania. And Salsas is one place i shall patronize more often. The ambiance of the place is warmly Mexican. The walls are painted yellow. A television plays a Hispanic channel but the sound is muted. Mexican/Latin American plays over the sound system. It could be a little softer. I had carne assada which was a thin steak served with Refried beans, seasoned rice, pico de gallo, guacamole & 3 soft flour tortillas. It was good! I wish their menu included Mexican Cebiche & cabrito, but then very few restaurants have those dishes. Service on a slow Monday night was prompt. The nachos were fresh & the salsas spicy! There is outdoor seating but it faces a strip mall. Salsas used to be Pepitos before its current makeover. The waitress is delightfully welcoming Seora whose nephews are the owners. 4/5 for this meal
I lived in central California for 18 years so I know good Mexican food. This is not it folks; at least if the chicken, beef, and cheese enchiladas were an indication. The beef ones were so salty my wife and I could not believe it. The cheese ones were nothing special. The chicken ones were ok, but were over salted as well. I also ordered a chorizo talking that was, wait for it, way too salty.
