Only south Indian restaurant in cincinnati. I loved the sambar and vada combination. Pongal and payasam tasted good too.One can’t expect every item on the buffet to be perfect!!I immediately felt at home with Tamil songs in the background and friendly service by staff.
Moved to Chennai, but I still miss Ammas kitchen especially Panner Pakora and pongal. Excellent customer service and awesome South Indian food…
Would have come about 20 times. The best South Indian place in town. Taste is good, makes it healthy and keeps closest to taste of south. Try their podi idly- they make it one of the best I had ever.
Satiated after having food here! We ordered medu wada for appetizers and they were served crispy and hot! Relished them. For the main course, We had Amma’s thali which had quite a few items and Rawa Masala dosa. The dosa had gone a little cold and thus a little soggy, and the masala served inside it was insufficient. Nonetheless, the taste was quite good..The standout items in the thali were dal, rice, rasam and the sweet. Beet root poriyal could have been better..The service was excellent. Just a little bit of care towards the food being served hot and i would have given a 5.. Would definitely visit again..
Favorite South Indian Vegetarian restaurant- love the service and food. This is one of my favorite restaurant 🙂 I often visit. They do an excellent job.Really like them:) People Like Mr.Muthu and service personnel they excel in the job.Food is so delicious. They pack really well. This is not like typical Indian restaurant. They care a lot. They are extremely busy. I took few Americans who took photographer or Headshots for me – they were so amazed and happy about it . They said they cannot such a large variety and delicious food during the Buffet- AmazingThis is the best South Indian restaurant in the Cincinnati, Ohio area
Excellent Food. On the way from Atlanata to Detroit, some one told about this restaurant. Excellent place to have pure Indian Vegetarian food. We have never tasted that kind of food either in ATL or Detroit.
Outstanding customer service and Great Food one should not miss South indian food variety. Had gone on 12/6/2014 for Dinner- They made the food really good and delicious. I loved the Rasam.Restroom is well maintained. Normally indian restaurants -lot of things will not work. This is totally different. They all behave professional. Owner – Muthu -met him today- he deserves to be recognized. his success should be notated somewhere the way he came up and started-he is a great entrepreneur.I went again today for Lunch 12/7/2014- Amazing -the Lunch place was full. Total restaurant was fully packed. i have never seen such a big crowd …They treat really well. They give you Dosa or Masala dosa additional to Buffet. They treat people really kind, nice and courteous. Normally in indian restaurant they might behave still Indian in India- but these people are absolutely different. Very professional and they smile always, polite and people who are working are awesome too. I believe Muthu’s wife takes care while Muthu does catering and delivery-amazing.
