A disappointment. Returned after a long absence to order sesame noodles. They were bland, but looked the same.Appetizers were only fair.Cold rolls were delicious. This restaurant has changed.
I returned to Song Long for lunch and unlike last time, it was prime time for lunch and packed! This time, I tried the Bun Bo Hue and again like the Pho, the broth is really good! The rice noodles that accompany it was a little overcooked…maybe the lunch time crowd contributedto it with a busy kitchen?Still, I like this place and would recommend it.26 Jul, 2014Having spent some time in SE Asia and being fortunate to have friends from Vietnam who owned a Vietnamese restaurant in another city, I was excited to try Song Long – I wasn’t disappointed!Even though it was lunch, I requested the dinner portion of The beef Pho with a few orders of Goi Cuon and their coffee. The Goi Cuon was fresh and hearty…perfect for summer! It was so good, I ordered more to eat at home. The pho really hit the spot. The soup was not overly salty and had a good portion of noodles. The owner was very nice and kind; it seems that the other customers frequent the restaurant a lot so it had a nice friendly vibe.I’m so happy to find a family-owned restaurant with good Vietmanese food…I think this may be one of my new favorites.P.S. – There is free parking in the back of the building. The price is very reasonable, especially as I compared it to other Vietnamese restaurants in Ohio.
Delicious http://songlong.net. I traveled all over (former guest artist) I looked for Vietnamese food every where i visited.Song Long offers place where to enjoy a great meal with a variety of choices.
Delicious.
The Real Thing. This is Cincinnati’s first and still most authentic Vietnamese place…as the owners have real history with Vietnam and the food hey cooked there during the war. The soups are truly authentic…the Pho is great, but the Bun Bo Hue is simply out of this world
Great!. The Pho here is indeed the best in the city. Better than Cilantro and that place in Findlay market. The atmosphere is a bit wanting, but the food definitely makes up for it.
