Who remembers when Chili Time was across the street next door to Maxim’spool hall? I grew up in St. Bernard, went to St. Clements grade school and St Bernard H.S. After high school and before I went into the Air Force in 1964 I practically lived on 4 way chili and chili dogs. Since then I have been back to St Bernard a few times and my first stop is Chili Time. Still taste the same, thanks for the memories.

What’s with the neon orange cheese?. I’ll start by saying I appreciate Chili Time for what it is: late night grub that’s delicious going down, but you wonder what is going on in your body 30 minutes later. The service is great, as are the hours. Not sure why it’s a better alternative to Skyline, considering it’s just as expensive and the food quality is largely the same. Also, Chili Time’s cheese is a fluorescent orange after it melts. No joke.
A Must Stop. Been coming to the fine city Cincinnati from the west to visit family for over 5 years and can’t wait to pull in for my fix of chili cheese fries, etc. Don’t have them where I come from. Great food, nice people. Always look forward to coming back.

If you like Fish n Chips, this is the place to go on Friday, because It’s the bomb!The fish reminds me of Arthur Treachers or H Salt Fish n Chips from back in the day when I was a kid here in Cinci.
