  Great Food Read ResponsiblyLocation -@quakersteak – 2003 Cleveland Road, Sandusky, OH 44870 419-609-5606My family went to quaker steak and lube for my Brothers Birthday, He hasnt Been Home in ten years and we wanted to celebrate it. We walked in and waited five minutes wondering who was working since there was only 4 cars in the parking Lot. We proceeded to walk further in and had to look for someone to help us. We was greeted by Ashley who said she would be our Server for the day and we said cool. She was confident took our orders by memory, food was great. We all finished our meals and was going to get alcoholic drinks and hang out a bit, but when she asked to see ID she said she cant take a District of Columbia state ID. We was confused because why cant you accept an ID that was distributed by Your Nations Capital ID at a little Chain Restaurant. This Lady proceeded to argue with us saying she gets paid too much to not follow the rules that was given to Her By Cedar Point. AND THEN looked my brother in the eye and asked for him to show a Passport. (I didnt know you needed a Passport as a US citizen to buy alcohol in the US.) Oh Yeah, You dont. She continued to Rant About District of Columbia Being a Fake Place in the USA and insinuated that his License is Fake. At This Point the Whole Restaurant Could hear the conversation. At this point we was ready to leave. She had left and came back with the check. My Mother Asked for the reference that she kept referring to, and she came back with a Identification book with license IDs and said we Have to go by this. And when we looked at it shown a different Id in it and That was because the Design of the ID had gotten updated to say Washington DC on because. Apparently people dont Know their Nations Capital. But Again she disputed with my mother and started to get to a level where the Whole restaurant of people can hear it. So my brother said, if you think its Fake call the Police and Have them Verify it be cause this is ridiculous. All we want is to try the restaurants drinks. He even shown his previous ID because the DMV predicted something like this might happen, But she still gave us Hell. Eventually we said forget it.Then when my mother was attempting to had the payment to Ashley she tried to Snatch the receipt from her. So she pulled it back and said, i want to see the manager At this point Im ready to flip the table. The Manager sat in the back for a while and then came out from the back. HE SHOULD HAVE COME OUT WHEN HIS EMPLOYEE WAS RAISING HER VOICE IN THE FIRST PLACE. The Old Management Would have.He basically stood by the ethics of the, rude server and didnt even make a compromise, or search online to see the ignorance going on with the stupidity of this country when it comes to identifying District of Columbia, USA as Washington DC of America. As Long as this Server Ashley walks the ground of this establishment, Im will never eat at this restaurant again. You dont disrespect my family in that Matter. And dont show us printed material without showing the publishing date. As a graphic designer i can spot Bull**** a mile away. Print media is outdated as soon as it hits your hands. The information was literally on the news. Because TSA had issues with them, And TSA was told to accept them.   This place is awesome and all of the food is delicious! We had a great time! I had the chicken fingers with boom boom sauce and they were delicious! I would most definitely suggest stopping by!
