Thomas Jones. Good ass wings and the service was great.
Laid back older crowd. Tried for the first time a couple weeks ago. The wings were really good! Make sure you check on their website for what the daily specials are. Usually cheap food item and couple beers or shots for a couple dollars. Older more laid back crowd instead of a younger noisy crowd. Pool table, clean bathrooms and patio.
Did’t get served. I looked up the sports bar on urbansppon and thought it would be a great place to go. the reviews looked ok and so did the menu, well saturday december 8, 2012 me and my friend entered the bar, it was nice not a crowd yet maybe about 12 ppl. the 2 men at the front of the bar spoke and we spoke also. we sat in the middle of the bar awaiting service, two young girls one with curly hair and the other with straight hair just stared at us while talking with each other this went on for 20 minutes some1 from the back came and looked at us then went to the back of the bar and then a tall thin gentleman walked passed us fooled around under the bar then asked what we would like we asked for 2 menus he walked a way then came back 2 minutes later we got drinks which were cake vodka and cranberry we tasted more cranberry than anything and our drinks were dark like the juice instead of it being a splash of juice. he never asked what we wanted to order and the 2 girls just continued to stared all the time we were there with an occassinal look from the back. a table with about 6 ppl were been waited on by a blonde girl with staff on her shirt she was pleasnt with a smile to them. another group came in right as the band was beginning to play they were immediately seated handed menu and served. i felt embarrassed, we attend many bars and never been treated in such a way. i put a $20 dollar bill on thbe counter to pay for the drinks which 2 ppl passed. the bartender never returned to us another guy tall and large approached us and asked what we had he attempted to make another drink, i informed him i just want to pay for the drinks $9 for 2 drinks and we left. the pizza place across the street was crowded and noted to have a mixed group of people in it. we left went and went to Willies in kenwood got seated and served all in 15 minutes.
Excellent Sports Bar!! I will definitely make this my go-to spot after my experience…. As a new resident to the Kenwood/Deer Park area, I am always looking for new and fun places to go to eat and drink on a Friday or Saturday night. I am a hardcore Notre Dame fan who was looking for an easy, local spot to watch the game. After a busy weekend, a few friends and I decided to go to MVP last Saturday to watch the game and just relax and hang out. It was Halloween weekend, and DV8 was playing, so it was a wild night. The beer selection was great and the food was pretty good too no reasons to complain. After an Irish W, a few car bombs and way too many beers, it was time to leave. I paid my bill in cash, but had earlier given the bartender my credit card so he remembered my name for a tab. I woke up on Sunday morning realizing that I had left my credit card at the bar. I showed up about noon and spoke to an associate that was at the bar the previous night. They assured me that my credit card was not charged… the man working remembered me and knew I had paid in cash. About a week later while checking my online banking statement I noticed a charge from MVP for the same date and amount of that Saturday night of the ND game. I was obviously very upset because I had already paid my large bar tab, and did not want to pay any more. After talking to the general manager and the owner, they were fantastic and understood that I had messed up, yet they were willing to make the situation right. Even though I had paid my bill in cash, yet signed the credit card slip anyways, they recognized my mistake and paid me in cash. I know I messed up and I was 100% in the wrong they still gave me my cash back. I will be sure to visit MVP again with friends and family because I was treated so well and had such a great experience through my mistake. They had every reason to deny me, but made right by me.
Went for dinner for the first time on 5/10/12. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and friend ordered a BLT. Ater waiting 25 minutes the bar tender told us that they ran out of lettuce and had to go to the store to get some!!! How do you offer salads on your menu and run out of lettuce?? Another 25 minutes later we got our food and it was horrible!!!! BLT was ice cold and only had one piece of bacon on each side, chicken salad had maybe 3-4 small chicken cubes on it. The only thing good about it was the Bud Light but hell I can go anywhere for that. Horrible, horrible experience and will never go back. Menu items are also way overpriced for what you get!!!!
Great place great Bartender. They got this new hot bartender Emily. She was awesome and will come back to see her.
Think they got a new chef because i have had burgers there before but this one was one if the best I have had in cincinnati 2 thumbs up all the way
