Italian Style in Solon. I’ve been shopping here for years but now that they moved to Solon Rd. they are way more than your average Italian store. The space to bright and airy and has a nice seating area in the front. They have a fantastic selection of quality meats, cheeses, olives, olive oil, sweets, pastas and wines. In addition, their prepared foods, pizza by the slice and bakery are fabulous. The Italian bread is baked daily and is only $2.75 for a giant loaf. If Jim’s Gouda is in stock, get some. It’s the best! They also have a Lavazza espresso machine and have a full selection of coffee drinks.

The Giving Tree. I live in Australia and I found myself emerged down a quiet street in Solon, Oh, when I came across this little Italian Deli. It was fate… I found Alesci’s. It has the most amazing food. You can order hot food to eat in, or purchase groceries to take home. Everything is baked or made fresh in the store. The staff are so lovely and are able to accomodate for any size order. The only negative thing is that there store is so tucked away…. But to my delight they are opening a brand new… Massive store that will go above and beyond anything, anyone has ever created. I can’t wait to check it out…. So much anticipation!
I come here often for lunch. It sure beats fast food! Great subs and hot Italian dishes like calzones, sausage and peppers, and pasta that change daily. The sauce is delicious.
It is rare that I go to one place everyday for lunch. This is one on those rarities. Tried the roast beef sandwich, big Vito, ravioli, meatballs and past, cannoli, cream horn, minestrone soup and all were delicious! Still have much more to taste!
