Had a casual dinner here with a work colleague. Our Server was very knowledgeable of both the menu & the many draft beers brewed in house. Kudos to the training done by the BJ’s Team. It was well reflected on this experience. Our Server was not kidding when he stated it was a large menu of over 100 food items. It truly is a very large menu with a vast variety of American cuisine. I forget the specific name of what I ordered, but it was a Mahi-Mahi Shrimp based dish in a broth. Outstanding! Never had anything like this before and it was a treat. My colleague, who happens to be from New Orleans ordered the Jambalaya and stated positive things about it. The beer selection was just as good. I appreciated the fact that even though they brew their own, they do not limit the selections to just that. They have many other traditional selections in case you are not into fresh beer brewed right on the property. And they sell a number of their beers for off premise. Overall, this experience was a very good one with good food accentuated by very good food and a knowledgeable and friendly Server who knew just what he was doing. If I have one criticism, put some head in the beers. A real beer drinker does not want a glass filled to the top with no head.That said, this place is a winner!
This is my favorite place to go on any given night. The wait is never bad and the Blonde Ale craft beer is awesome. The Salmon is perfect and the pizza is the best. I’ve had every beer on tap and we like them all!!
Always good service and good food! Never had a bad meal here. Food is always hot and fresh.Will continue to return – check out their special events and beer pairings!
This is my third time to have lunch at BJ’s, I figured opening day was not a time to judge if this chain has something to write about, the second time was better but the service and food quality was anything to crow about.This trip a little better than the other two, BJ”s was not busy since we arrived early, the welcome was good, but service was disappointing, the time to get our drink order was way too long, going over the never ending items a sea of overloaded.choices.Started with Wings which were disappointing, I know this is a chain and they need to make this easy to cook a middle of the road bland offering.We opted for salads, Santa Fe and the classic Caesar, go to say I enjoyed the Santa Fe, large and prepared nicely, the Caesar was about the same except the dressing was tame-mild so you could easily go with blue cheese that would have so bold flavors.So overall we would come back as a gathering of friend for a lunch or after work but not a favorite.
Overrated and overpriced. Took the family on a Saturday afternoon, service was good, food…ok. Way overpriced for the quality and quantity. Mediocre appetizers for 11.00 each? My wallet took a hit on this one, won’t be going back.
I would like to give a shout out to Daquan Booker at BJ’S in Dayton Ohio. .Daquan went beyond the call of duty. I left my sweater there on Valentine Day. I live in TN. He kindly took the time to talk to me and locate it in the restaurant and delivered to the hotel I was staying in next door so they could mail it to me. Thanks Daquan.
Save your money!. Tried out BJ’s on Saturday 1/10 for the first time. I should have read a few reviews first.The place is EXTREMELY overpriced. I had a pizza, my gf had the lasagna. My pizza was barely even mediocre. Nearly tasteless. The toppings were of very low quality.My gf complained that her meal was very dry and lacked flavor as well. For a 100$ + meal I would expect a great deal more. I won’t be returning
