Best BQ place in Cincinnati. My husband and I have been going to Rib City every Wednesday night for about 5 years now. We have tried other places that claims to be the best BQ however we are from the South and Rib City is by far the best in Cincinnati. The service is excellent the prices is good and we have always received enough food to fill you up. My husband is the pulled pork guy and I love the baby back. The chicken tenders are awesome with the buffalo sauce is so yummy. We have tried other items on the menu and have not be disappointed. I always take my family there when they come to visit and they all have been very pleased. Mike the owner is always nice and ask us how was our food. As long as the food and service stays great we will continue to eat there every Wednesday night and any other time we are out and feel hungry. Thanks to all of you at Rib City you do an awesome jobJohn & Darlene25 Feb, 2015Best BQ place in Cincinnati. My husband and I have been going to Rib City every Wednesday night for about 5 years now. Not a good value for your buck. Not a good value, imo. Portions are very small. Most of the food is cold and seems rewarmed (hard cold fries). Many places nearby have much better for the dollar. I see no reason to go here for what they offer. palatablepastime.com

Not true to their Facebook posts…. I went today because the manager posted a Facebook special stating that if you mention the Facebook post when you come in, you could get a free meal up to 10.00 dollars. Apparently the manager made a mistake and written the post wrong meaning to put If you bought a meal you will get a meal for free. So when we ordered our food they asked for 8.99. I was confused because even though he edited the FB post, it didn’t state the changes of the BOGO, he still stated only the free meal. The manager and the cashier embarrassed us in front of other customers, and I won’t be going back anytime soon. If you made a mistake that’s fine, but don’t get irritated if you don’t know how to correctly edit your FB posts.

Good BBQ north of Kentucky?!. Rib City would not be out of place in Nashville or the like, but here it is a beacon of barbequed hope. The meat is smoked, not simmered, so it doesn’t have the mushiness associated with typical barbeque served from an ice cream scoop (i.e. City Barbeque, blecch) — instead, the texture is great. Do ask for the spicy BBQ; they have plenty of variety on the table, but you’ll like to mix and match a bit. The onion rings are especially good.

Stay Away !!!. BEWARE!A full slab of ribs is approx 9 inches long,1.5 in wide at each end and 2.5 in at the middle. It should be listed as a fool slab.I have never seen a slab of ribs so small, I can’t imagine what a half slab would be.Quality was 1 notch above a McRib but only because the McRib is pressed into the shape of a rib.Didn’t taste anything like ribs cooked in a smoker.Sides were typical truck stop quality, frozen french fries (think Ore Ida),baked beans straight from the can.Food was mediocre at best.I had gift cards that were given to me, so I paid half as much as the average sucker who is unfortunate enough to visit a Rib City Grill, I still felt that I had been Ripped Off !!!I contacted Rib City about it and I asked if all the Rib City locations are the same but they have neglected to respond, I would take that to mean, they are.

Best BBQ in the Cincy area. Best baby back ribs I’ve ever had in the Cincinnati area. They were wonderful! My husband got the BBQ chicken & ribs combo which was also excellent. Great service. Super people. A great dining experience.

Awesome ribs. I went here for lunch the other day for the first time. I must say, they live up to their namesake.I came a little early, but the place was still surprisingly empty. I was literally the only person in there for part of my meal. I’m not sure why either – the food was fantastic.I got a lunch special with a half rack of baby-back-ribs, fries, garlic bread, and baked beans. The ribs were excellent. The meat came right off the bone – no utensils needed. There was also not a single bit of fat or gristle. I tried all of the sauces they had and thought they were great as well. The french fries weren’t bad for it not being their specialty, and the garlic bread was perfect. The beans were pretty good but perhaps a little too sweet for me.All of that was only $8.99, which is a great deal for lunch. I must say, those were some of the best ribs I’ve ever had. I’m sure I’ll be back for lunch on a regular basis.
