Very good sushi for inland. This place has about the best sushi you’re going to find in an inland state (so spoiled sushi-ites from the coasts should probably not bother; nothing in the entire continental interior is going to make you happy). There are two sides to the restaurant; one side does the hibachi grill performative-food-art thing, and the other does actual Japanese restaurant food. Ask for one side or the other at the greeter’s desk. The appetizers are generally very good, though the agedashi tofu is kind of variable. The house rolls are the real highlight, though, because this place came up with some really good combinations. Presentation is handsome, service is generally pretty quick, and the bubbling lighted water wall that forms one side of the ‘sushi’ area is just plain cool to watch. I particularly recommend the Kani and Memorial rolls.
