Tasty food, bargain price. This is one of the rare places in Springfield you can go to get good, simple food at a very, very good price. There are many other places you can go for chain food, but the few locally owned and operated places like this taqueria should be treasured and celebrated.The food ranges in price from a few dollars for tacos to ten dollars for something closer to an entree. The pork tortas are excellent. And where else can you get tongue and tripe tacos?

Great place. If you are looking for great Mexican street food, this is the place to go. All of the food is very fresh and flavorful. Try one of the Frescas–refreshing and tasty–I recommend the horchata. It looks a little scary from the outside but don’t be afraid to try it. You will go back time and time again. They only take cash.My favorite dish is the carne enchilada huarache with homemade horchata (rice fresca).
