My wife & I went Sat night and will not go back. Salads were being prepare on a bar right next to the front door. Plates were stacked with the bottom of the top plate sitting on the salad of the plate below. The lady’s making the salads used their bare hands to push the lettuce on the plate. Bread baskets were stacked on top of each other with the bottom of the top basket on the bread of the basket below. Bare hands were being used to hold the bread. We would have left the restaurant after seeing the salad prep, but our friends wanted to try the place. Our server did’t bring bread to our table. The owner walked by after seating guests. I asked her for bread. After handling numerous menus seating people, she grabbed the bread roll with her bare hands, cut some pieces and brought it to the table. On top of that, the service was very slow to get our meal.

Great food but don’t plan on using an Entertainment or Restaurant.com coupon!. We were disappointed that we were not able to use either of our discounts, as that was one of the reasons we went to Bocca Grande. We do love their food and they have upscaled their menu a bit, so prices have gone up, They offer you a discount on your NEXT visit if you hand in your coupon, But at that point, we didn’t feel much like returning. Restaurant .com coupon clearly states it never expires. I feel at the very least, there should be a notice on their website and a sign at the door that no coupons would be accepted, regardless of the terms of the coupon We had planned to spend about $25 out of pocket and spent well over $60, which was not in the budget. We do love the food and their new menu options but it’s a little out of our price range without the coupons. Probably will not be able to return very often. Will be sorry if this change causes them to close eventually.

We both felt ill afterward. I had one of their new Namath Tuscan dishes. The veal meatballs were awful, full of sinew and gristle. All of my noodles were stuck together with tomato paste. No moisture at all. The center was cold, telling me it was heated in thei microwave. My wife had the chicken Marsala. The chicken had no flavor and her noodles were overcooked and mushy.

Best Sauce and steaks. Homemade sauce and freshly baked bread are a meal in themselves. New aged prime steaks are the best I have ever eaten.

We started going to Bocca Grande several years ago because it was close to home, now it’s become home. I rarely cook so we eat at the Bocca several nights a week and we have started joking that it’s Kelly’s Kitchen. Larry, Renee and all the staff really care about their customers and the food they put out. My favorite is their Ribs, they are fall off the bone delicious every time, and the sauce is like no other. I have so many favorites it’s hard to recommend just one, but some of my favorites are their Homemade Potato Chips, Homemade Pizza, Blackened Salmon, Cajun Pork Chop, Prime Rib, French Dip, Chicken Alfredo, Chicken Parmesan, Scrod, and their 8 oz. Filet. And if I ever make it to dessert, some of my favorites are Brownie Sundaes, Cheesecake, Tiramisu and Chocolate silk pie. They have a full bar and I think everyone should try a Bocca Blast at least once. Although I do not like coffee, one of the items I see being made frequently is a Larry Coffee, it appears to be the best way to end your meal. No high prices and horrible lines, just great food and great company. And if you are looking to have a crowd, they can accommodate larger groups. Give them a try.

The service was excellent and friendly. This was my first time there and was excited to try this giant pork chop I heard about. It was good but mostly fat and bone. The chicken fingers were overcooked and dinky and the pizza was plain and dry.
