A bit overrated. Food is pretty good. Donuts are alright but if you want a good donut, go to the Downtown Bakery unless you want to dine in because general Tim Horton’s is pretty clean. Probably why I dont like Tim Horton’s is because any small amount of special order gets messed up or they look at you stupid or act rude. From time to time I special order at other places but never had such greef. Sorry…there are better places to go.
Foods pretty good if you only order exactly what is on the menu. 3 out of 4 special orders done wrong get kind of annoying. The receipt shows it correctly to what I asked for but some reason the kitchen can’t get it right.
Gotta have my Timmys!. Did You know that Tim Horton played hockey for the Toronto maple Leafs in the 60’s & 70’s and co-founded what was then a donut shop chain? Most Canadians grew up with (Timmys) and their amazingly good coffee and donuts. Over the years Tims changed to focus on light meals and snacks and followed the specialty coffee trends. The aroma of constant donut bakes that used to draw people into their stores has sadly disapeared, replaced by a new oven oven baked donut which is poping up in other large chains. Though I miss the smell of donuts in the fryer and the huge selection they no longer carry one thing has stayed the same, their wonderfull coffee!
I love Tim Ho’s. Their iced cappucchinos are so delicious. I drive 30 minutes just to get one.
