Great Burgers, Lousy Beers. The only complaint I have about Bar 145 is that its selection of beers on tap is weak. An ice-cold pint is great with a burger, but sometimes I blow off Bar 145 for the competition down the road, because I just can’t count on them for a good one.
Two thumbs down…. I used to love this restaurant…it was a regular with amazing food, high quality ingredients and thoughful preparation. Now the quality of food, service and general cleanliness of the restaurant have all deteriorated. The food is just poor quality not. Something has changed over the last 6 months and I will not go back.
Great!. Sat at the bar for happy hour=great prices on apps and cocktails. Burgers are good and the truffle fries are amazing. Great atmosphere, yes a little load but did not bother me too much. Service was outstanding. Will go back next time I am in town.
My go-to for great meals. Bar 145 did have a rough spell for awhile, but I’m so pleased to say they’re back in full force. The black bean burger has a ton of flavor and in my, perhaps vegetarian biased, opinion, is the superior burger on the menu. Although I kind of wish they would go back to their shoe string fries (or maybe something a wee bit smaller than steak fries), I’m still a sucker for the truffle fries. Lately, I’ve grown addicted to the fried brussel sprouts with sauteed onions and cranberries, but they’re a touch too greasy and tends to make my sensitive stomach burn. I also love being able to get a GOOD beer with this great pub meal.
