Horrible evening. I had a previous experience here which was fantastic!! However, our most recent visit was horrible!!!! A table of 12 people (they had our reservation for 2 weeks!), so they could have better planned to handle that size of a table!!! It was a series of problems from…. It took an hour to get any food on the table .. Bread. at the 2 hour mark, those that ordered appetizers got some of them, and dinner was a disaster!! Food came out at 15 minute intervals, people with specific food requests got the exact opposite of what they asked for! I got cold chicken!!!! We were completely stunned at the night of catastrophe!! I hope they can get their act back together… It’s such a beautiful place!!! The management tried to make amends, however it may be a while before I can even think of going back!!!
Delicious! Great service too. The butternut squash bisque was exceptional. More savory than the sweeter versions in many restaurants. Our mains were Hawaiian Sunfish and the pork chop. Both well prepared. Light sauces and garnishments nicely complimented the meals.
A-maz-ing. The food was excellent and the macaroons at the end were heavenly. It is a bit pricey, but worth it for the food you get. Go on Tuesdays for their market tasting menu at $29 for an appitizer, entree and dessert. Really fun experience!
Restaurant was very good. The pace of the meal was timed well so that we did not feel rushed, but weren’t waiting either. Portions were small, but I did not leave feeling hungry. My girlfriend had the filet of beef, which was excellent. Very tender and full of flavor. I had the lobster. Unfortunately, my lobster came to the table completely undercooked–in fact the tail was raw in the middle. I immediately sent it back, and the chef prepared a second lobster. At $55, for an eight ounce lobster tail, I would expect the chef to know that serving raw shellfish is not acceptable. The redone lobster tail came out better, but to me still seemed somewhat undercooked. I’m not sure how they prepare lobster in Europe, but I simply cannot bring myself to slurp down slimy raw lobster.
