Outstanding Name, Above Average Experience. This is a good Toledo restaurant for Italian, service is efficient and friendly, menu is varied and priced right, and drinks are not overpriced. Also, I would highly recommend the Wine Tastings on Tuesday Nights, for $20, you get 4 samples and plenty of antipasti and pizza to curb your appetite. Veal is especially good here. Is it really outstanding, no and it can be pretty noisy. That being said, it’s steady and reliable and you will have a good meal with good service.
Not much!. The food is ok, the pizzas are good. I love to eat out and I would give Mancy’s Italian a 5. They do not get customer service, and they treat customers like cattle. We did mention a couple things to our server and she came back and said nothing could be done. I also called the following Monday and they said they were busy last nite. I don’t think that is an excuse….loved the comment by George that we will make it right.

Way over rated and pricey. You can find much better Italian restaurants in this area than Mancy’s Italian. The complementary bread and dipping oil is really bad! The bread is way too doughy, almost a raw, yeasty taste. The oil is just olive oil. My dinner companion had a chicken Marsala that wasn’t fit to eat. Preparing chicken Marsala is very very simple, no major cooking feat here. My lasagna was dry and in need some major help in the seasoning department. Mancy’s is living on it’s reputation, it may have been the place to go for Italian years ago, not now.
So over-rated. Natives will tell you time and again to go here but we just don’t get it. Food is mediocre, especially for the price. There’s much better to be had in town, even from some of the chain restaurants. We feel the same way about 2 of the other restaurants this family owns – Shorty’s BBQ (used to be good but has really gone downhill since opening) & Blue Water seafood; very expensive for so-so seafood.However, don’t let that stop you from going to it’s sister restaurant, Mancy’s Steaks – great food there & worth every penny!
Mancy’s Italian. This restaurant seems to be skating on their laurels. The food quality and menu freshness have slid down hill. No longer can we expect a great meal. So sad!
