It’s a hot dog joint…. Whaddya want? Anyway, the regular hot dog is what you want; chili and cheese, perhaps some hot peppers. Get two and a beer and be happy 🙂 you can get almost any beer or wine you could want in the State Liq Store next door, go home and sleep the dogs off.
All hype. I had to see what all the hubbub was all about. I had heard of Tony Packo’s on M*A*S*H*, so I had to give it a try. I got the cabbage combo #3. The cabbage and sauce were a bit sweet for my taste. The sausage was fine. The paprika dumplings (which was the same thing as spaetzle) was good. My daughter had the chili mac and chili dog. I tried her chili and thought it bitter and too cumin-y. It may have been on the stove too long. The peppers and pickle were great, however. Overall, I think this was over-hyped and overpriced.
