Good Food. I enjoy BBQ. And Toledo has some good places; Shorty’s and Deet’s are my favorites. Backyard is a fine addition to that mix.The places looks nice – contemporary with a some country-charm. Everything we ordered was delicious. The sauce was tasty – just the right amount of sweet and kick.I’m sure we’ll be back for more.

Nice atmosphere. Good, friendly service. Country atmosphere with recycled pallets is really cool. Brisket was nice and tender. Ribs were tasty. Wish they were a little more smokey in flavor.
To start things off they don’t have working locks on any of the 3 stalls in the women’s restrooms. Then I ordered my food and no corn bread came as an appetizer, so I ordered some. It was tasteless, but the butter was delicious. The barbecue pulled pork sandwich was okay and then bun was okay and the fries were average. Overall I wouldn’t return and I would continue to spend my money at Shorty’s.
