Failed on All Counts. Went in simply to get a good burger to go. Easy request, right? Apparently not.The medium rare burger was cooked completely dry and partially burnt. What little flavor left was permeated with the grill spray. Asked for but not received was onions and mayo (or any other condiment or spices). Asked for and received, unfortunately, was the lettuce which hadn’t been crispy for several days and a slice of tomato from about the same time period. The bun seemed to also have been left on the counter for that same two days. However, there was a heaping amount of crispy ripple chips covering the burger. Yahoo!Much of this might be pardoned had the waitress/hostess been even marginally competent or personable. Alas, that was not the case.All in all, a bad day for a burger. We shall not try Dorr Street Caf again. The rancid-bordering taste clings to the palette.
Horrible service
Watch your charges!. We have eaten there several times and it wasn’t until the last time that we noticed we were charged an automatic 15% tip! Our waitress never said a word about that until one in our party, an accountant, called this to our attention. She refused to return the additional tips we left her, so, we ended-up leaving a 30% tip!! The food is so-so, nothing to write home about. We had to ask for clean silverware as there was dried food stuck to the forks!
