Nothing Famous Here. I heard good things about Dave’s, but what a waste of money and time. The brisket was overdone; the sauce containers (they put several out) were dirty and sticky. The service was friendly but not knowledgeable and the prices were just okay. My companion had the ribs which were cooked right, but not having much flavor.
Had high expectations for Dave’s because they have the best rub you can buy at stores, but we were very disappointed with our visit from service to food and cost! Hopefully it was just a bad day.
Rib Tips no longer Tips. Rib tips used to be great. But no longer. Few weeks ago ordered them after not going there in a while. What a disappointment. They are not succulent tips they used to be with maybe just a bit of cartilage, but now are just small ribs with bones. If I want to mess with bones I will stay home to do so. I don’t like to go out to eat ribs. Too messy. I’m over Dave’s.
The food was excellent! Service left something to be desired, but the staff were all very friendly. They were visibly understaffed for the number of guests they had. I hope that this is not a common occurrence but I will definitely be back and will share more when that time arrives.
Good bbq… catfish is great.
Yummo!. Just tried them for the first time & had the rib tips. These can be really greasy & mostly fat at some places but Dave’s were fantastic!! Good char, great flavor. Good potato salad & BBQ beans too.
There is like seven different BBQ sauces on every table. If you dont like one your bound to like one of them.
