Beef and chicken kabob + kids !!!. Husband and I shared beef and chicken, moist and tender.. no FAT ! the kids had tenders and fries but wanted Rice instead of fries. the rice is so flavorfull, not with chicken stock, just good. don’t know how they do it… we also had chicken shawarma on fatoosh, SO GOOD ! the price was well worth the trip to pick up and we are loyal Ferdos custokers here in Old Orchard.22 Jun, 2013Take out !!. Although the service and atmosphere were nice, the food and prices were not. The falafels were tasteless hockey pucks and the gyros and even pita bread were bland. The kids liked the french fries okay, but if I were concerned with that, I would go to a fast food chain restaurant. Best part of the meal was the too-dry baklava.
The food was horrible here and horribly overpriced. The waitress was very nice and friendly but it didn’t excuse the water down rice/soup/ and the marinade on the meat was racid. I had chicken and got two huge fatty pieces in my chicken I had to spit out. Waitress offered another plate but I declined.. And you would think the manager would come over or offer a discount to the meal, but instead we were billed more than should have been. (Menus prices were different than what the bill came out to be) lunch should not be $28 for two people..and to top it all off they do not serve free refills!! Who doesn’t serve free refills nowadays?! Needless to say, that was my first and only time I will go to Ferdos. Horrible.
Yum!. We love Ferdos! Great food, great service, great prices. It’s like our second home. The best pita bread and hommus in town!
