  Just went to Hot Pot and Asian Grill for dinner, it was the first time my family and I went there. We didnt know what the concept was and that made us a little wary while ordering. The waitress helped us understand the concept and we ordered a Schezwan Hot Pot, Fire Pot Tofu and Chicken and Shrimp Kabobs. The service was one of the fastest weve experienced in Toledo. From the moment we tasted the Chicken kabob, we were in love. This was one of the only places where we ended up liking everything we ordered. Also, one of the only places that actually served spicy food when we asked for spicy. We liked the Fire Pot Tofu so much, that we asked for the Fire Pot Chicken as well. At the end, we felt satiated and most importantly, happy! We loved the food and look forward to visiting again and trying other items from the menu!

  Sizzling Shrimp Teriyaki. Unique, not too sweet but a bit salty. Good.18 Jan, 2015Incredible overall even down to the presentation and atmosphere. Very fresh, the black fungus was interesting and flavorful though surprisingly chewy, too heavy on the star anise; it overpowered the Fire Pot Chicken dish with that tongue/lip numbing sensation and that black licorice taste associated with star anise. Wide variety of food but if it’s outside your cultural palette and experience, a lot will be new to you so take your time and order thoughtfully. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, friendly waitstaff.
