OH MY, OH MY!!. Why are the owners so unhappy? The three of us went there on Friday evening, the place wasn’t all that busy and the owners daughter took us to our table. Why is she so unhappy? Does she know that the first person you come in contact with in any business sets the tone on the rest of the experience? Does she care how uncomfortable she made us? Not at all!! The waitress was smiling, thank god! The food came out very slowly but it was actually great! The bus boy was either not happy to be there or he had no idea what I said to him. Will I return?, possibly but it will be a while.
Yes, They Do Gluten Free. Jing Chuan has always been an excellent dining experience. Why don’t we frequent it more often? Great food, good service.We had a potential problem as dining partner is gluten intolerant. Our waitress wasn’t familiar with that, but manager came to the rescue very quickly, explaining which dishes would accommodate that restriction.Our choice of Hot Spicy Garlic Chicken was perfect; our partner was more than pleased with the gluten-free Snow White Chicken with Pea Pods. At various times we have tried most items on the dinner menu. Never even a mediocre selection, always well above expectations.Sizzling Rice and Won Ton Soups outstanding. Clearly one of Toledo’s finest oriental restaurants, consistently good for many years.

Not the most reasonable pricing ever for the portion size here at Jing Chuan.. But no doubt, this is the best General Tso’s chicken I have ever had. If you’re on the fence about coming here, go for it. They have a great crab Rangoon also!
Jing Chuan Chicken, Mu Shu Pork. These are a MUST HAVE! They are the only things I will order. I strayed and got the general tso chicken and some pork lo mien once and I wasn’t impressed (Although I am told that this place is authentic, so maybe my dislike to some of the food is due to my commercialized Americanized grease loving taste buds lol). Okay but back on the Jing Chuan Chicken and Mushu pork. The Jing Chuan Chicken Is light and almost airy, served in a garlic wine sauce that is to die for! Slightly spicy with dried cayenne peppers in the mix, but definitely not over powering. The Mu Shu Pork is very good, I will say the best in town (only surpassed by P.F. Changs). Also the crab ragoons are delicious, but you MUST put the spicy mustard AND the sweet and sour sauce on them, it really sets them apart from other ragoons.Oh and the service is great as well, the waiters and waitresses are really great, fast, and friendly!
Best Chinese food in Toledo! Been coming here for years and glad to say it hasn’t changed much. Delicious food and excellent service. Must try the eggdrop soup and egg rolls, they are both TO DIE FOR!!!
Food was delicious. I had the b3. Definitely would order that again. Service was a little slow, but we had a large group.
