Buckwheat pancakes!. Buckwheat pancakes aren’t a very common menu item, but Monroe Street Diner has them and they do them right. If you haven’t had them before, they’re similar but quite different from a regular pancake. They have a sweeter and almost nutty flavor that I’m partial to. So, done, sold, love Monroe Street Diner for having these!
