The management needs an education in labor laws and health department regulations. So sorry to be a hater but they take advantage of people that they believe dont have anyone looking for them. The place may be friendly to some but they allow employees to smoke weed and cigarettes in the back and they definitely dont follow safe food practices. So, go at the risk of getting sick or breathing in second hand smoke.
The food is good, especially their omelets. They are very welcoming, and the service is usually pretty good. I say usually because I have had less than great service there on an occasion or two, but it’s been good way more often than not. It could just be that they were short staffed on those bad days or something. I believe they always do very well with their health department inspections. Now for the not-so-good, I can’t stand their jukebox or sound – it sounds like it is playing from an old transistor radio, it is usually waytoo loud, and it’s just not what I want to hear blaring while I am trying to eat and visit with my company. My other issue is with the lighting, especially at night. The lights are very bright 24×7. They need to dim them during the dinner hour. Also, when you go in there after bar closing time, it is BRIGHT and LOUD. It’s enough tojump start your hangover headacheprematurely. I think if they would just turn the lighting down some, (some of) the people would probably tend to be a little more quiet. So, food is good, service is sufficient, and atmosphere starts off god and goes downhill the later in the day it gets.

Great place ! Always delivers a satisfying meal! Dependable and open fri – sun. Great juke box as well. Chili cheese fries are wonderful.
I was not impressed with My House Diner. Ordered a hamburger which was undercooked and in my opinion overpriced. Almost $6 for something not edible? Service was slow. I’ve heard lots of good things about this place, but based on my first experience there, I don’t think I will be returning.
