Not worth the money.. My husband and I went to Registry Bistro last night for a belated birthday dinner. Loved the atmosphere, very modern and spacious. The service was good overall, but I was surprised to see the wait staff wearing jeans. The food was just so-so, if that. We ordered the Smoked Cinnamon Cashews which were nice and warm but the cinnamon was so overwhelmed by the smoky flavor we couldn’t even taste it. We also ordered the Naan Pizza with Duck Confit and one piece of it was enough for me to know I didn’t want anymore. My husband had a couple of the pieces but wasn’t interested in finishing it. We both had different salads; mine was a promising sounding honey salad with granola, or something, and my husband had a wedge with bacon and candied pecans. We ended up trading when we didn’t like our own, but didn’t care for the other’s salad either! Our entrees were the sable fish with cannellini beans for him and a ribeye with broccolini for me. The steak was undercooked, the broccolini was overcooked and the sauce overwhelmed everything (in a bad way). After a few bites I gave up, awaiting the Sweets for 2. My husband said the sable fish was just nothing special. Though we had a sampling of the sweets, none of them were very good, aside from the Raspberry Sorbet and a toffee cake. There are not many restaurants where I do not enjoy the desserts (since I like most things sweet). Very disappointing for the $160 and we won’t bother again. My Riesling was good though.
