All of my experiences with Jack’s deli have been very positive whether it be take-out or dine-in, it was good. The parking and restaraunt location are convenient and service, excellent. Very polite and friendly here. The deli staff will cater to your needs with a smile offering special cuts and boning of fish and other specialty meats at no additional costs. A-1
If only the owner Alvie would say hello. Been getting corned beef there for years. One hello and I might still be going there. Kenny at Corky’s is always good for one.
Overrated. Tried Jack’s Deli for the first time. Used to love New Yorker downtown and I though they were owned by the same people. So… I drove all the way to S Euclid to take my mom to lunch. Suggested Jack’s deli, my mom was ok with that. It was VERY expensive, food was average, when she decided to come over the waitress was kind of rude, and for being a deli, the pickles were HORRIBLE.will never go back.Should have gone to Gerracies.
Maybe the best. Don’t sell this little Jewish style deli short. It’s not the big boy in town, but it might be the best. Romanian pastrami here is excellent, and, of course, there is the corned beef. Try it for breakfast, too. Dinner specials include many eastern European Jewish favorites made almost like my bubbe did. You can skip the brisket, though. Stuffed cabbage will make you think you were in Hungary.
First impression left much to be desired. I had my first experience with Jack’s Deli this evening. Many friends had commented on how great your place is and so I thought I’d give it a try. I called in an order of hot pastrami on rye with yellow mustard (cole slaw side), and 2 potato latkes with applesauce. I got the food home, opened the package, and found a cold (not cold because it sat around after being heated, but cold from refrigeration) turkey pastrami on onion roll with potato salad side and no apple sauce with my latkes. Slyman’s has Jack’s beat on flavor, ambience, price, and accuracy… perhaps pay them a visit the next time you want a good delicatessen meal in Cleveland. But avoid Jack’s at all costs.
One of my favorite’s. I grew up in the area of Jack’s deli and it’s evil rival Corky and Lenny’s….. Jack’s like Corky’s remodeled recently… but unlike Corky’s still is great good…. and service…. what is great about it is that is very low key… sometimes I have seen guests just walk up to severs and ask them for something or walk up to the counter where they keep their pickles and grab them for themselves… Just like you would do at home… if your gonna be in the beachwood area…. don’t ever miss jack’s
