  It gets worse, every time. This is a place where the only thing worth ordering is breakfast items, but how hard is it to mess up breakfast? Give these people a chance, and they will find a way.Hot vegetables often taste like they have sat heating for hours, sucking all flavor and nutrition from every cell. Prices are ridiculous for what you get. Service is usually pretty lousy, too. We always seem to get the same Russian woman. The dcor is modern and they feature large flatscreen televisions that are on whatever channel they feel like leaving them on. There are fewer people there every time we have gone in.I once ordered chicken schnitzel that was just a piece of chicken breast, breaded and fried. The breading was soggy, the meat was dry, and it was way too thick to be called schnitzel. Last time, I ordered chicken parmesan, which was also dry, and was more like schnitzel than the schnitzel.Don’t bother complaining when you check out, either, because the checkout girls just say sorry and don’t accommodate you at all. Maybe if you’re dying of hunger, go here, but there is a grocery store across the way, so no, not even then.Between the lousy service, the high prices, and the terrible food, I do not know how this place stays in business. When you ruin fresh spinach, give up and go home. They managed to ruin broccoli, too.The food is never good here, and there is better Deli a short drive away. The area is ripe with restaurants, but for the neighborhood, it is the only deli, and yet, they do not bother to offer anything better than garbage on a plate, and that is when you order the daily specials.Daily specials should be the best thing on the menu for that day. Save yourself the heartache, and don’t bother with this place. This is the worst restaurant for a mile around. Anything other than breakfast has to be choked down in misery, but breakfast is not worth the high prices and lousy service.They could do better at this place, if they really tried, but they don’t. Very little of what is served ever tastes fresh or like a delicacy. It’s not deli, it’s not diner, it’s just garbage. Gordon Ramsay would have words for this place.

  Once the Best. This was the best deli in Cleveland, no doubt about it, but something has changed. The prices have gone up, the corned beef just doesn’t have the flavor it did, some specialties are still very good, but for the price, I won’t be back for a while.
