This was my second visit to this Mac and cheese paradise. I learned on the first visit that the portions are generous so my daughter and I each ordered a small farmers market salad and shared the mac and cheese with spinach and dried tomatoes. My son In law ordered the bbq chicken mac and cheese. Everything was delicious and we took home leftovers. Our server was very attentive and efficient.
If you go on a Monday and order the BB king Mac and cheese, you will not be dissapointed. I suggest Monday because they have half price Mac n cheese.Overall, decent atmosphere decent food.
Keystone is a nice simple bar with good food and a nice atmosphere. The food is good, the mac & cheese is good but not great. A fun, casual place to meet, eat and drink.
It took the food so long to get our table then when we got it, it was cold! Boo and and our waitress never even apologized. I guess they’re still working out the kinks.
Horrible service. Waited forever for someone to seat us, so we seated ourselves and eventually moved to the bar. The bartender lacked a personality and was watching the football game instead of properly taking care of her guests. Food is mediocre and way overpriced. We will NOT be back.
I @was very disappointed on our visit to Keystone on Thursday, August 20th. My wife and I had just finished moving our son into Siddall Hall for his freshman year at UC and we were looking for a good lunch. All we found at this Keystone was a long wait, (we waited almost an hour for our entrees), bad service, (I ordered a second drink,I requested to have with my meal, it arrived when I was 3/4 finished with my quesadilla) and sub-standard food (the chicken in my quesadilla was cold and my wife’s burger tasted as if it had been frozen). The staff did not even produce a manager for us to complain to to give us a chance to voice our concerns properly! We are not dining out novices in any way and we love the Keystone in Hyde Park, but this particular Keystone missed the mark by a mile!
Horrible Service and Scammy. I have been going to Keystone since it opened and have probably been over 20 times. I have NEVER had good service and I kept on telling myself it was because it was a new restaurant and that it would get better. Well folks, the service has frankly gotten worse and I don’t plan on spending any more of my money at this establishment. Since they have opened the restaurant has also gotten incredibly scammy. When they first opened they offered half off Mac and Cheese on Monday and Half off quesadilla’s on Tuesday’s. They had this deal for over a year. Now in order to get this deal they require you to purchase a drink. Another deal they had was with Forever Bearcats. If you donated $50 to forever Bearcats they promised to give you 50% off your entire bill. Now, several months into this deal they drastically dropped the discount to 15% off. Besides there horrible service and scammy deals they have also dropped the quality of there foods. For example, the Power house and Black Sabbath mac and cheese used to include steak. They have now downgraded this ingredient to brisket.Overall, if you like wasting your money on over priced food and horrible service, Keystone Clifton is the place for you..
