To all those that complain, no it is not the worlds best pizza but it is fun and you can make it you own. There is a novelty in the experience and what is better the endless toppings for $9? It is a nice place to have lunch if you are not in too much of s hurry.
I loved the pizza at Pieology!Went there with a friend on her recommendation and wasn’t expecting anything great, but it just surprised me with all the flavors! The seating area is quite huge and there were a lot of empty tables since we went for brunch maybe. There’s no menu at this place, one just needs to walk towards the counter and ask one of the girls about how to order. The staff is very friendly and explains the ordering process as well as recommends toppings & sauces to newbies!So, the counter has all the toppings and sauces that goes into a pizza and you are free to choose as per your preferences. Once you choose your pizza crust, you go through all the options and have your pizza made in front of you. And, they are very generous with the toppings so you can have as much as you want!! Our pizza came to our table in just 10 minutes and it tasted divine!Would strongly recommend this eatery!
It’s pretty hard to mess up pizza, so not surprisingly this place is okay. It’s not as good as others, though. The gimmick is that you ‘build you own’ pizza while they put toppings on in front of you, sort of like at Subway. If you like specialty pizzas, though, (like Dewey’s Green Lantern), that’s not their strong suit, here.
This place makes an easy, cheap date and a place for friends who love pizza but like different styles. I had a fun experience trying to create my own pizza and trying to outdo my husband on the toppings. It’s definitely not fancy but it is easy, cheap, and laid back.
First timer to pieology. Pizza was ok. Crust is a little too thin. Glad it was priced fairly. Probably won’t go back.
5 Stars for Pieology. I went to Pieology for their grand opening and I couldn’t have been happier with my pizza. The pizza was not only fresh but so was the new concept that they are introducing to the area. I was able to create my pizza to my liking and it tasted extremely good. I can only imagine how big of a hit this place will be when all of the UC students move back to campus! Thanks Pieology for a great experience and great food. I can’t wait to stop in for another one of their fresh, made to order pizzas!
