Adorable place. I have yet to try the fondue but from what I have tried, the soups and salads are good. In my opinion, they are comparable to Panera or any other soup/sandwich place. I would certainly go again. Good martinis!

Mmm, chocolate….. If you love chocolate, you have to stop into this wonderful eatery. But go for the sandwich and salad combos. Leah had the ruben with a spinach salad, and I had the cajun chicken with a garden salad. Both were served promptly by a friendly counter staff/waitress. For desert we split a piece of the cheesecake drizzled with white, milk and dark chocolate. All of the meal was washed down with the chai tea, she had the hot with chocolate and I had the cold. We both thought the meal was just right to fill us up, without feeling like we took on an anchor. We recommend the establishment highly, and will be returning to sample more of what they have to offer.

Not the best.. The Chocolate Cafe is a very cute place but the chocolate cake we ordered was very dry. I’m sure they have better things on the menue but I do not recommend the cake.

Only if you’d like to waste your money (not to mention calories). I should have known to leave immediately when I saw the guy with the last piece of red velvet cake leave 3/4 of it on the plate for trash. I just assumed he wasn’t as hungry as he thought he was. Then I bit into the overcooked and tasteless cookie I ordered. Thinking it was a fluke, I had some of my husband’s overly soggy cake. Then I knew…Don’t be another victim. Go elsewhere

Could be better…. Like so many other places in the Grandview area – very nice atmosphere and so-so service and food (depending on what you get). I don’t know why the managers of these places don’t try to improve their service and menus a little… it wouldn’t take much to make these places spectacular. I waited tables, bar tended, and catered my way through college (plus planned special events for a living) so I have been on the other side of the counter plenty of times and know what I’m saying. Not sure if these places just can’t find good help or don’t care to go the extra mile. They have nice staff at this place, and some of their chocolate offerings are unbelievably good – like the Mexican hot chocolate – they just need to step it up a notch on the non-chocolate part of the menu, the martini bar, and the service.

Chocolate Cafe. What a adorable place with wonderful sandwitches and salads!!. When I ordered a cookie, I was given a warm chocolate oatmeal cookie drizzled with warm chocolate. It was worth the calories. Great place for our community.
