  Mortified. Rude employees followed me and my friends around like a couple of criminals. They refused my alcohol purchase. I am 23 years of age and.the store manager was very hateful. They allowed the purchase of my friends alcohol purchase but because they assumed I was with a younger party of which I was not they refused my purchase. We were followed around the store and half the employees that went around the store showed up to the aisle I checked out at. I was mortified and embarrassed. I will never come back.

  Terrible service for a returning customer. My wife and a couple friends took a hour trip to purchase items that we could only get in giant eagle. We had picked out a couple bottles of beer and a handful of groceries, and immediately after we left the alcohol section we began to notice 3-5 employees following us around. When we went to make the purchase they sold the alcohol to my wife before the managers came up and decided to refuse the sale to our friend who was over 21, we had one person with us who was under 21 but never touched or purchased anything. But when we asked if we needed to return the finalized purchase by my wife they said they already made the purchase and couldn’t do anything about it. If you already sold it to one of us why can’t you sell the rest to the person who showed you her id and was over 21?

  Giant Eagle Hit the Spot!. If you don’t know what you’re hungry for when you go to Giant Eagle, don’t worry – they have it all! I was just shopping for dinner items but I was amazed at the varied food stations I passed. They all looked and smelled amazing and I was so sorry that I had just eaten lunch with my parents at First Watch, a few doors away. I live in San Francisco, California area and am used to visiting Whole Foods. I think that Giant Eagle has them beat in the vast variety of dining styles of food either ready to eat or prepared fresh. I also was excited about the wine dispenser that offered multiple self serve wine selections on tap. Just put in a credit card and select the wine and the size of glass you want, from a taster to a full glass. There are also tables available so you can enjoy your glass of wine with whatever dinner/lunch selections you just picked up. You want Italian, she wants Mexican and the kids want a pizza? No problem- Giant Eagle has is it all in spades, or forkfulls. Can’t wait to go back and dig in.
