If you are looking for that hidden gem for Italian Cuisine, Moretti’s is that place from the large wine selection to the wedding soup to the option of small plates on you entree and finally the desserts all very good. Spilt the Spicy Sausage Ziti, and the Beef with Truffle Ravioli with my wife and both dishes very good and we split the Tiramisu for dessert
This is real Italian dining. The food was like it was prepared by generations of Italian families; with the great aunt managing the kitchen. I’m making that up but that’s what I envisioned the kitchen looking like. We had a little of everything on the menu at our table and it was all fantastic. I never understood gnocchi until dining here. I thought it was hard chewy pasta balls but here it melted in your mouth. Someone else ordered it, I never would have. But I will next time. And there will be a next time. The reason I didn’t rate it 5 was because they raised the bar so high that little things were more easily noticed; a chipped Marinara cup. a wine splashed menu, the smallest bottle of. San Pelligrino I’ve ever seen are among them. As noted in other reviews the bar and restaurant were very busy. We ran into other friends there, always a plus. Let me say something: bacon and Gorgonzola and risotto arancini with fresh made marinara and grated Parmesan. And that’s just to start. They don’t need my business but they’re going to get it anyway.
