At one time great place to visit. I have went here on many occasions only one bad experience and they made good but on my most recent visit they cut back on the portions. I’m a creature of habit and I stood there for a second, now at this point I just said I’m good and decided not continue the order. I am so frustrated with businesses cutting back, I refuse to spend my money in these types of establishments! You cut your portions but you continue to charge the same. I understand you have to make a profit but what changed in one week? Nothing, so I will no longer support these types of business…….done!
Delicious!. It has been a long time coming, but I finally made it to a Piada. And I loved it. I had the Calamari Piada, which was huge. I could not finish it. Consisted of fried calamari ( generously big pieces ) with pickled red peppers and a salad mixture, and a delicious sauce. I also added the Zucchini Frittes, and love those also. It came with a small container of a tangy sauce. But I also sprinkled the zucchini with their Italian hot sauce ( not really HOT, but good and spicy ). A glass of wine was $3.75 and it was good wine. Watching what other people were eating, I want to go back and try more things. This was a very good eating experience.
Pasta bowl with calamari. I get the angel hair pasta bowl with calamari, pomodoro sauce, parmesan, artichoke hearts, spinach, and mushrooms. It’s a large portion so I sometimes have leftovers. It’s a bit cheaper than Noodles & Co, but obviously without all the pasta choices. I’ve never tried the piada, so I can’t speak to that. Great deal with a coupon!
If there was no place else. The food was unexceptionable. It didn’t excite me or repulse me. If there were no other places around, I may go here again.
Not Going Back…. My husband and I tried Piada for the first time last night. We both got the Piada, mine vegetarian and his the italian sausage, and both were exceptionally greasy. We also each got a Piada stick, and they were also grossly greasy. My husband didn’t feel well after eating; I felt fine but wasn’t happy with the oil. I saved some of my meal for the next day at lunch, and after just finishing it I don’t feel too well. The thin crust dough was so drenched in oil it fell apart. We won’t be back to any Piada. It’s unfortunate because I see them everywhere in Columbus and was excited about trying them.
I will gave it another try but a different location…
