Horrible service!. We sat patiently for fifteen minutes just waiting for our drink order! Another 10 to actually get our drinks. an hour for our food. On top of it, no one came back to refill or reorder drinks! when we asked on the status of our food, we were told ours was up next, which was not true. Food was ok, but definitely not worth going back for. they will not be seeing us again.
The environment was fun but everything else about the place was awful. My waitress seemed pushy, my sushi was awful, and the service was terrible.
I tried. Gone there a few times, almost always messed up the order and their sushi sucks. Will not be going back. Go to Moshi Sushi in Bexley for real sushi and awesome service.
Got the sushi lunch special and the only thing that was special was the price. The salad had wilted and some rotten lettuce. The spicy salmon in the roll was run through a grinder and had the weirdest texture. And the Columbus roll was way too salty. I’ll never go back.
Very poor dinner. Had a late dinner with my family one Tuesday night. We love pan-Asian Fusion but our meals were terrible: deep fried chicken in a overly sweet BBQ sauce, tasted like chicken nuggets, with a doughy breaded texture. Vegetables did not come as described, rather cooked until limp and drenched in some sort of tasteless sauce. Our daughter’s Sesame Chicken was bland, overly fried, and barely edible. The Thai spring rolls were the only redeeming moment of the meal. And every restaurant serves a bad meal now and then, but there is no excuse for bad service: our waiter was unhelpful, didn’t understand our questions, and I had to refill our own drinks. We were ripped off: $65 for food we couldn’t eat.
I would recommend lunnch its a a very interesting menu… Im NO sushi fan so theres more to share llike the appetizers ie lettuce wraps..& the mango dishy WE had a chose of 4 items. & the tofu was what i wanted in it & it went well.. & tasty BuT the service acted hateful & had personality like they were being bothered & im NoT saying that litely.. If U tickled them 2 death THEY wouldnt react.. That there alone can make/break a meal always but hopefully theyll work on that or its like NO service NO tippy!!ETC
Go somewhere else. Tried Royal Ginger for the first time. Looked nice (but looks can be deceiving). Service started off good but went south after placing our order. We received our appetizer after the main entrees were brought out. Server offered or took nothing off our bill for receiving the appetizer after the entrees. Both entrees and the appetizer were fairly bland tasting and only lukewarm. We have gotten better Asian food from fast food restaurants than here. We won’t be visiting this restaurant again.
