This location has a rude girl who works on the phones, says she’s a manager, ha! I hope not, I think her name was Meg or Liz. Either way, she’s terrible and wouldn’t know customer service if I came up there and slapped her with it.
Great taste!. They deliver quickly and are usually pretty hot and fresh. I recommend the boneless wings, and ribs (skip the waffle fries and boned wings, you can do those yourself a little better). They are known for their large and meaty boneless wings. (Best place for delivery food on campus!)The wings taste on a scale from about 7/10 on a bad day to 10/10 on a good day. There is some variance but overall the taste is usually great, most of the sauce flavors are good as well. It’s expensive, but you do always feel satisfied when you get your order. The wings are boneless, so they are mostly meat. In order to get the most out of this — try the blackened cajun flavor (recommend) or a similar dry rub. It seems that they use less breading for these and so you get even more meat.
Groovy Wings. I swear, I will never tire of this place. We ordered from them again over the weekend – the Golden Buckeye flavor is now my favorite. Throw in a large salad and your meal is complete. If they ever go out of business, I will throw a tantrum.16 Aug, 2011Wing Snob. My boyfriend swears up and down that wings get better the closer you go towards Buffalo and I would have to agree with this statement. The best wings of my life are from Western NY.Honest moment: Columbus wings leave much to be desired. Sure, every third restaurant offers them, but they aren’t delicious. Hell, they aren’t even good. I have accidently ingested plastic wrap that has had more personality than some of the wings I’ve tried in this metropolis. Until this weekend, I had accepted the fact that I would need to try to live harmoniously in this city without wings. We ordered from Wings Over Columbus and the dark cloud of dissatisfaction was lifted. The wings were delicious: they weren’t overcooked, but they weren’t mushy; they had enough sauce, but not too much; they were meaty, but not disgustingly huge. My prayers were answered and I can now reside in peace.Mmm…wings.
Great take out wings. Don’t think you are going to eat on premises. No where to do it, two chairs are always taken by people waiting on their orders.Great variety of dry and wet coatings and flavors. Be warned their hours of operation are odd, don’t expect to order for weekday lunch.
Best wings in the campus/ Arlington/grandview area. I love their wings. They are always hot and delicious. We live in grandview heights and they always deliver to us very quickly. The staff is polite. Their meals are very good. It seems as though their portion recommendations run a little large because we always have some left over for the next morning.
