    My family and I love Imperial Wok in Akron, OH. This includes 2 very picky eaters. We actually order take out food for dinner from this place once a week! It is not too expensive….less than Panera , more than McDonald’s. They have a large menu with many different options. The food is always ready in 15 minutes! They are always very nice to us. It is a very casual place to eat.

    Ok I’ve been going every since it open years ago I remember when her oldest daughter was born ,I can’t speak on anyone else experience but as for me I have been all over the orient. and from New York to L.A you will never find a perfect restaurant . if the food is good then enjoy it if it isn’t find another place I see people come in and order their veggie well done they should have stayed home really andworking 16, 18 hours a day your not always going to be friendly .

    Very poor management skills and negative attitudes. I have been going to Imperial Wok for some time now. We ordered two dinners last night.When I got home the sauce from the dinners had soaked through the paper bags, and spilled into the plastic bag. Everything was soaked in orange oily sauce. I called today to report what happened. First the lady that usually takes the orders just listened and then offered no solution. I asked who packed the meal. She said I did. Again, no apology or any explanation for the problem. Just kept being very defensive. I finally said, we are good customers. If I was the owner, I would want to please my customers. I wouldn’t act like was their fault. She said she would replace the meals or refund the money after much coaching, She acted like I did something wrong and would not ever apologize. When I went to pick up the replacement meals. I asked her if she gave us the crab raggoons? She said I am only giving you the chicken, because that is where the sauce spilled from. She also said there is no eggroll either. The eggroll comes with the meal as a combination plate. I told her that it spilled all over everything. I couldn’t believe she would not replace the whole meal that we paid for. She said the sauce came from the chicken and she would only replace the chicken and noodles. I told that I said it was all over and had even gotten on my carpeting. I also said, If I were the owner I would do whatever I could to please the customer. I told her she made me feel like it was my fault. She then put the bag down, and said I will just give you your money back. She was very rude, she is never really pleasant. She gave me the money, but I will never ever go back there. I was surprised that they would be so cheap as not to make a full order. They are losing far more by never getting any orders from us in the future. I read another review on Menuisms. It would be good to go read it. The children he is referring to, are the owners children. They are there all day and night with her. They are always running around the whole place. I am not even sure if that is legal. All that hot grease could endanger the children. Anyway, bad customer service, POOR POOR management skills, no rapport, and CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP!!!! They are going to lose more customers if they don’t learn some new skills, like PUTTING THE CUSTOMER FIRST, restaurant 101.

    The food here is pretty good, better than most Chinese food places in Akron but I have been disappointed on occasion. Sometimes my General Tso’s chicken is overcooked, rice tastes old, vegetables are either old or not cooked properly. I honestly prefer A-Wok in Montrose.

    Good Food. Have been getting food here for years and have never had any issues with service. It is always fast, hot, consistent, and good. I recommend it to anyone for a fast Chinese food fix.

    Terrible customer service with mediocre food. Messed my order up and blamed me, not the person answering phones. Wouldn’t replace the ruined order or refund money. Won’t go back.
