Have visited Alley Cat several times and always left satisfied. View is phenominal. Last visit was with a party of six, so we tried a number of different items (although no oysters). The lobster (dinner and rolls) is amazing. The whole lobster is steamed and grilled, which adds flavor but keeps if fresh and light. The lobster rolls are good as well. All of the seafood is so good that you have to remind yourself that you are in Cleveland and not on the east coast. Efficient service, fun vibe. Good wine list and beer selection. A fun spot for dinner with great atmosphere. Fun to walk the boardwalk along the river after dinner. Only negative is that it tends to get noisy inside, even with the ‘doors’ up. Nonetheless, good food in a nice setting make this a place you want to visit more than once. Recommend.

Zach Bruel needs to close this place and re-open when the place is ready. Not enough staff to start. Managers walking around not even noticing that their staff are failing miserably. When they do finally realize, they seem just as lost. Feel bad for the staff working there since the patrons are waiting so long. No one has a good experience when the staff can’t deliver the high quality service they want to! Maybe in a couple months this place might be ready, if it survives. They are making so many enemies right now that I think this will close very quickly.
Horrendous! For all of the hype this restaurant doesn’t even come close to the build up. The restaurant is only serving food on the first level and they are completely overwhelmed. The managers walk around and do nothing to support the staff. You feel so bad for the staff, they are trying so hard but clearly haven’t been given the training, resources, or support to do their jobs. For a restauranteur who brags about having opened so many restaurants this one is a complete embarrassment.
