Excellent food and service!. I was visiting from out of town and this restaurant was recommended by our hotel staff. It is right along the C line – bonus perk – didn’t have to pay to get transportation there! I went for Sunday brunch abd ordered the vegetable skillet. I must say it had a great flavor and the it was well presented. I thought the menu had a lot of great options! Service was exceptional as well. If I revisit the area, I will definitely return to the chophouse! Thanks for a great dining experience!
No idea how the food is because after 20 minutes the waiter never came back to take our order. So we went back to mallorca for the third night in a row
Really good.. A friend recommended this place to us and it turned out to be a really good place. It’s spacious, quiet and very clean.The salads, gnocchi, crab cakes and filet mignon tacos were really good. The service was knowledgeable and attentive. I was disappointed that I couldn’t have their banana cream pie (home made whipped cream and custard) because it had chocolate in the crust and it wasn’t mentioned on the menu. In spite of that, it was a really good time. We went back the next afternoon for lunch on our way out of town.
Did not dine… stopped in for drinks first. The bartender was awful! He was rude and did not make myself or the others that were planning on dining with me feel welcome. I would have forgiven all of that if his martinis were drinkable… they were not. We went two restaurants down to xo steakhouse and found their service and attention to customers to be more to our liking.
Flawless. I can honestly say this food was the best I have ever tasted. Best steak I’ve ever tasted, and the crab bisque was exceptional. Incredible service and phenomenal drinks. THE BEST restaurant in Cleveland. Coming back as soon as possible.
Good place. The food is always good, has something for everyone. it’s not cheap but it has a good bar and a cool atmosphere inside. we go here more than any other restaurant downtown.
Meh.. Wasn’t sure whether to click on like or don’t like. It was more like, meh. The atmosphere is definitely great. We sat out on the patio under an umbrella table with plenty of flower boxes to add to the relaxed decor. I ordered a lobster roll. While the sandwich was only $16, so I really wasn’t expecting a boatload of lobster, I was expecting more than tiny pieces of leg meat. Maybe a bit of claw? The citrus mayonnaise was definitely a keeper, but I would highly suggest to the chef to get rid of the tiny pieces of leg meat. You know what they say… if you use cheap ingredients, it looks… well… cheap. My companion had what looked to be a fabulous steak salad with filet mignon. Although she ordered it medium, it was more on the medium well side. Then again, how can you mess up a salad?I can say that if I were to travel back to Cleveland, I probably wouldn’t re-visit this establishment, but I didn’t hate it. I’d rather try something a bit more upscale.
