Great food, great service! We were greeted and seated right away. Good selection of beers and food. The bison burger and truffle fries are a must! Not only are the truffle fries, truffle flavored, they’re waffle fries which boosts that wonderful flavor. Buffalo Mac and cheese was creamy, filling and delicious! They also have a spicy boom shrimp appetizer that is very flavorful, and fried but not greasy. Seasonal beers on tap are also a nice touch. Looking forward to going back and trying more off their menu!
Disappointed Browns fan. Stopped into the Great Northern location because I was in North Olmsted. No one at door to direct me to a table so I seated myself. Took 10 minutes to be waited on. For a game day, it sure seemed light on staff. Boneless wings were average. Also, while trying to watch game, a number of intoxicated customers were allowed to remain even thought they were loud and unruly. I’ll stick to my favorite wing place from now on.
Service sucks at least downtown. Service was horrible for such a slow night I would tell you how my food was but I didnt even get it after an hour and fifteen min I was running late for the show at hilaritys I was headed to anyway. I caught the cook dunking hia cup of water back into the ice chest after he drank out of the cup multiple times. Avoid this place.
What crappy service I had yesterday. I ordered 2 shots of Jameson and 2 orange juice chasers and the bar tender pours Jameson and orange juice together. She then tells me it’s my fault because thats what i ordered, what a bitch she was. She then gives me the right drinks, I tip her 2 bucks and she yells across the bar thanks for the dollar tip?Once a again she’s a bitch, I should have stiffed her.
How does this place survive? Game nights, that’s how. Went there on a dark night with nothing going on downtown with my wife and two daughters. It was VERY warm in there and I asked the server if they had just opened. She said no. I asked if it was going to get any better and she just shook her head and said that it was hot all day and sometimes it’s just like this. Really. I have to sweat in my food? No thanks. She was nice so we had a drink to be polite. After, I regretted giving this business any of my money. I have to assume that the server knew what the response would be if she approached management about the temp. I made it clear to her that they would lose a 4 top. Go there on game days is the lesson, I guess.
Allergy alert. My wife was very clear explaining her allergies, and would substitutions be accepted at regular price. We were assured as the main ingredients were subbed for a lesser, no add on was anticipated. First the salad (entre) was all wrong, the replacement was very greasy, all the subbed items were considered an add on which cost more than her meal. I ordered an ice tea, and a brisket sandwich, the fries that are served with my meal were terrible. I dont know what was in my tea that I was served, but nobody came to check that we were satisfied. They did throw the bill at us after we patiently waited for 30 minutes. Other guests simply walked out due to the slow service. We wont be back; it is a waste of time.
Service was excellent!. About a week ago I went here for the first time. I was quickly greeted by a smiling and friendly server who told us the drink specials and food specials for the day. The burger I ordered was pretty good, and the kettle chips sounded plain but they were delicious! The server made sure to check up on us and everything went nice and smooth. I was in a party of 7 and she made sure to also tell us that gratuity was added for us bc of the size of the party, which it also said on the menu.Overall it was good…I’ll be going back for their $3 tall beers!
