Coffee shops are a nice way start off any morning. When I travel, I try to seek out the ones that are lesser known because it is here that you often find some of the best coffee and tea in the area. A good example is Pour Cleveland, located in downtown.Inside Pour Cleveland one will discover a well- lit atmosphere featuring mostly lighter colors with a large amount of glass in front to let the natural light shine through. The seating consists of a high table with stools, a low table with multiple chairs and smaller, individual tables for you and a guest around the edges. There arent a large number of seats overall, but many who walk in will get their drink to go, so you shouldnt have too much trouble finding a place to sit. With the beverages, Pour Cleveland serves coffee, tea, cappuccino, espresso, lattes, and other drinks, with almond milk and other optional add- ins. The drinks taste roasty, fresh, and delicious and the same is true of the snacks. They have scones, cookies, and other sweet treats, but if youre in the mood for a non- sweet treat, they have bagels also, many of which come with fancy cream cheese options for added flavor. If there is one annoyance with Pour Cleveland, it would be with the parking. I circled the block multiple times, up one street and down another, until I finally found a place to park. Where I ended up wasnt close to the entrance, but I got tired of looking for a parking spot and decided to get some morning exercise instead of continuing to search. Some guests may get annoyed by the parking, but given the location, I cant necessarily hold this against the establishment. Its the price you pay for downtown convenience.Coffee shops are popping up all over the United States and with minimal effort, you can often find places with excellent service and delicious java beverages. Pour Cleveland is one such place and while the parking can cause frustration, the high quality food and drink is worth it in the end. greatbeernow.com
Great authentic coffee shop near downtown Cleveland. Service was solid and I tried a very tasty blueberry lemon artisan danish. With the cobblestone sidewalks and rustic interior, it evokes images of Main Street America
A quick stop while downtown, Pour is one of those hip and stylish Coffee Shops that seems to be entirely based on the concept of being seen or acting cool, the baristas abrupt and generally treating customers as an inconvenience while slinging cups of Beans reoasted elsewhere, the quality certainly superior to Starbucks but not on par with Duck + Rabbit Coffee or the shops which their selections are bought from. endoedibles.com
