Lovely contemporary restaurant. This was our first time at Pura Vida. Our request for a table in a quieter area was honored, the server was attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. Food was delicious, and the dcor was fabulous.
Pura Vida. Had lunch on the patio with my family. Everyone agreed that it was very good. The Cuban sandwich was really good, and the fries were addicting! The iced tea was flavored with black currant, which wasn’t overpowering, yet refreshing. Our waiter was wonderful: personal, attentive, and friendly. I really want to try the peanut stew.The menu is seasonal, which helps to ensure that all the ingredients are fresh. I’m looking forward to seeing what is on the fall menu. A good choice for vegans and vegetarians as well.
Great food!. Had lunch at Pura Vida a few days ago. Sat outside on their patio which was nice. Inside seemed too noisy. Their African Peanut Stew is absolutely fantastic. They offer a good selection of tasty Vegan and non vegan food. The service was very good too. I will be back!
Best Restaurant in Cleveland!. We have always thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic food and superior service when dining in the restaurant. Recently, we used their catering service for a party at our house. Katie was a pro at organizing the entire event. She is extremely organized, detail-oriented, and dedicated, and worked with us from beginning to end to ensure that all of our needs and wants for the party were met. She exceeded our expectations in every way, and the party was a huge success-thanks in great part to Katie and her staff. Much gratitude and kudos also go out to Chef Scott and his staff for a marvelous menu that received many, many complements from our guests. He was able to create all the food gluten free at our request, and everything was phenomenal! I have Celiac Disease and am not usually able to eat much at large get-togethers, so it was a great change to be able to relax and eat everything in sight! The flavors were bright, complex, and memorable. This was by far the best event we’ve ever hosted or been to, and I would not hesitate to highly recommend them. We can’t wait to use them for our next event-and may have to invent an occasion to do so even sooner! And, oh yeah, they also left our kitchen cleaner than when they started!
Pura Vida. Pretty all around tasteless, expensive food. The gelato was sac religious. Service was pretentious. Do not go.
Pura Vida changed their menu recently and was very disappointing. Although they offer a variety of vegan, vegetarian and meat-eater options the quality of the good was subpar for as expensive as it is. There are rarely many people in the restaurant the several times I’ve been there and the service was just awful. I’ve checked this restaraunt off my list permanently.
