I have been here a couple of times and the first time I came the food was fantastic. The atmosphere was so much fun we went for lunch and the windows to east 4th street were open. It wasn’t my type of Mexican it had a nice twist to it though. The second time I came I was disappointed and was upset I had to spend the money on food that wasn’t any good. We also were stuck in a corner all alone, granted we had a child but we shouldn’t be stuck in a corner.
Horrible food. From the beginning and still now. What a joke for Mexican and a waste of real estate in Cleveland.
Very nice atmosphere. Good looks like it will be great but I’ve given this place 3 tries and terrible food each time. To top it all of you may get a waitress that completely ignores you.
Bad. This was one of the worst mexican restaruants I have ever had. Cold tortillas, near rotting lettuce and bad service. Avoid.
2 strikes. I visited zocalo about 7 months ago and had a mediocre meal but restaurants/chefs/cooks have bad days so I always try a place twice before commenting. Tonight was round two and strike two. I ordered the carnitas. The meat was so dry at one point I actually sprinkled I little beer on it to add moisture. In addition to being dry it was tasteless. I choked about half down. Only two strikes in this game, I’ll never go back.
Terrible food. We went to this place on a sat nite to have some nice mexican food but ended up having some terrible stale food. We ordered 4 different dishes from the menu and all of them were STALE!!! ….Drinks were ok but FOOD WAS A BIG DISSAPPOINTMENT…
Jero. Needed a place to eat after Cavs game at 10:30. Got us in right away. Mahi mahi tacos were horrible – corn burritos don’t hold up and fish had no taste. Salsa was ok but guac wan’t that great even though we got 3 different types. Thank god we were starving otherwise we would have left the meal and asked for a refund.
