Absolutely the worst service at the bar! I wanted to order takeout and drink a glass of wine while I waited. I was informed by the bartender that take out was around the corner. Had to flag another server to at least look at a menu. Flagged down the same bartender and asked if I could possibly purchase a glass of wine or should I go to take out to do that too! Ridiculous!
We went here with a large group. Server was excellent, service was pretty quick but this place is priced high for what you get. I don’t mind paying well for small amounts of really good food, but this was just ok. And really….they ran out of mashed potato ?? I had an average steak with a side of broccoli. Sadly the sides are very limited and even though they ran out of what i wanted, they wanted me to pay 2 bucks extra for a side of alfredo. Come on now, if you run out of the one potato side, you can’t expect people to pay extra for others. I think there are better Italian restaurants. Carrabbas is aiming for high end dining but is really just average.
Went there on a pretty normal Monday night with the brother and wife. the ambience was a little dark but gave off a cost vibe. the Minestrone soup was warm and well cooked ! Absolutely loved the pasta ,with the cheese not being too overbearing. overall was a good gastronomic experience,though the hostess could be a little more friendly. definitely a good place for Italian !:)
Service…fair. Hostesses need training! Mozzarella marinara awesome!!! Salmon pretty good. Blackberry sangria awesome and my favorite!!
This place reminded me so much of Carabba’s. I ordered a drink and the waiter brought it to me and I drank it. Then I ordered some Italian food and he brought it to me and I ate it. Then he put the leftovers in a box and brought me the bill. I gave him some money then I left. There was also a television there.
My Absolute Favorite. This is our absolute favorite restaurant we eat at more than any other. The lasagna especially is my favorite. But the other pasta dishes, along with some of the chicken dishes, all have been tasty. The mozzarella strips also are great. One of the better restaurants in Mason.
Very Disappointed. Our first visit. I ordered what I thought was a small sirloin steak. Instead I got some sort of sirloin tips wedged between thick flatbread slices like a sandwich. If I had known what I was ordering certainly would not have. I usually can read OK and the menu description totally misled me. I had stared at the menu for quite awhile, as many of the descriptions threw me for a loop, like they were intentionally vague.It is back to Pitrelli’s for us, should have known not to trust a chain.
