When we lived close to Johnny Chans we did take out all the time. The food was always good and calling ahead saved a ton of time. They are just your average chinrse food everone is used to but worth a stop in to try. There specials are priced well also.

A great take-out place. Really like the moo sho.

Great take out. My children love this place. We think the staff is friendly, the luncheon specials are very reasonably priced. and the food is great.

Not very good. This was highly recommended to me by someone that loved the sweet and sour chicken, a dish I never get b/c it’s fried, but I decided to give the place a whirl b/c of how well they praised the place, and b/c the menu boasts they were one of the top 100 chinese places in the US not too long ago. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m not sure how. I have tried the lunch specials twice now and didn’t care for either. The first time I got a dish called spicy chicken slice. It should have been called slimy chicken slice since that’s what it was. Not good, and I later felt sick from it. The rice was also disappointing since white rice is usually the highlight of my meals, but there were a lot of hard grains, and it had a different taste to it, which was not very appealing. I was really surprised to have hard rice here and there though b/c they have a decent rice cooker from what I saw. The second time around I got a rice plate of chicken curry, which it describes as indian style. As soon as I got into my car with it I noticed this overwhelmingly sweet smell and realized wtf, that’s my food??? I knew it would be different, but I had no idea it would be so sweet. This is largely in part b/c it’s loaded with cinnamon. That one wasn’t actually that bad, but again – slimy chicken, and when I was done even though it wasn’t as bad as the last time it still was a dish I would never order again. I don’t know. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t like the place at all. Even the crab rangoon was pretty bland (it comes with the lunch special).

Not Even Close. I live within 2 miles of Johnny Chan’s so it is very convenient. Too bad the food isn’t worth the trip. I have been their 4 times, each time hoping it would improve, but no luck. Their servings are heavy on the veggies (especially onions and celery) and very light on the meat.Go a mile north to Chan’s Asian Diner for much better Chinese food with a much better atmosphere.

Great food excellant prices. We go an average 2-3 times monthly for carry out. the food is great ,wonton soup is exceltant , never have had an error in the bag when we get home. Prices are low, place is clean, friendly people.Try it Mikey likes it.

Good cheap Chinese. Clean resturant. Tasty egg rolls. Better atmosphere than your average cheap Chinese resturant. Had sweet and sour chicken, wonton soup, egg roll at dinner for $7.95. Enough for two people.
