Horrible food!. Sorry, not a complainer but this was horrible! Ordered the BBQ chicken, it had to have been left over from the day before. I tried to cut it, but it was so tough it wouldn’t cut, had the server try to cut it, she couldn’t either. The manager took it off our bill, but I thought she could have been a little more concerned, the restaurant was empty at noon on Fields Ertel, not a good sign! Now we know why. Won’t return.
Not a bad place for lunch. Lunch was quick and the food was good. On the pricey side for lunch but filling. The table bread wasn’t the best. It tasted dry but it’s free so whatever. Service was quick and worked well for a lunch. I would go back.

Whenever I’m craving a great steak dinner, I’m a sucker for Lone Star’s mesquite grilled flavor. Their sides are also tasty, but not their brown bread loaf, which tastes like it’s shipped in frozen and then microwaved to a dry flavorless sponge served on a board. Yes, it’s a corporate chain where they hit you up for drinks before you’re fully seated. They could be so much better.
Won’t kill you, but probably won’t satisfy either. Atmosphere had a dirty, dingy feel. Waitstaff weren’t bad, but didn’t seem to care too much about their job either.Food was middle of the road. Exactly what you would expect from a chain. They had specials running when we went so it takes the sting out of the bill.
Meh. I have been to Lone Star one time my entire life, and it wasn’t very good. The service was slow, the steak wasn’t cooked right, and it was kind of expensive.Probably won’t go back.
