Great option for a quick meal. I absolutely love McAlisters and find that there service is always outstanding from the counter to the folks who come around and check on you. Good, fresh ingredients and quick service along with great prices make this a go to place for our family when in a bit of a rush. The kids love the Mac-n-cheese which is quite delicious and not your out-of-the-box variety. Have been nothing but extremely pleased with McAlister’s and will continue to frequent.
Huge menu, okay food. Their menu is excessively large. Predictably, instead of doing a few things really well (think Chipotle), they do a whole bunch of things just alright. I think I’ve covered about half the menu over the many times I’ve been here (my girlfriend is a big fan of sub/sandwich places), I haven’t found anything to be remarkably bad or good. The sweet tea is good, but not leaps and bounds better than grocery store bought sweet tea. Overall, not bad if you’re looking for a reasonably priced, easy meal, but it’s certainly not anything new or impressive.
The sweet tea is delicious, they’ve got that down. I’ve also had some great sandwiches from other locations; however, I have been disappointed several times here, including a salad served with partially frozen lettuce. Gross.
Yum!. Delicious tea (sweet OR unsweet), great nachos and sandwiches, scrumptious cookies and desserts. I used to work in the same strip as one McAlister’s and I loved it, it spoiled me! I wish I was near one now.
What do they put in that tea?. Whatever it is….it’s addictive! If you’re a fan of iced tea, sweet or unsweetened, this is the best you can get unless you make it fresh at home. The food at McAlister’s is good…not corner-deli-run-by- Mr. Schwartz-good….but up a couple of notches from Subway and the like. I’m a sandwich guy, but they also have salads, GIANT baked potatoes served up about 100 ways, a couple of entrees and a handful of desserts. My two favorites are the McAlister’s club and their submarine sandwich. Order them warm and ask for them on either a white or whole wheat hoagie. Fruit or potato salad are their best side items. Lastly, don’t forget to order some tea! They have a promo right now where if you buy a McAlister’s tumbler for $5.99 you can get 99 cent iced tea through the end of the year. You can’t beat that with a giant spud!
Fantastic restaurant. I don’t really care for tea but their sweet tea is great. Affordable and delicious.
Iced tea. They truly have addictive iced tea! Great deli to boot.
