Food looks nice, tastes mediocre, service terrible. In a mostly empty room, at noon on Saturday, took 25 mins to get food. Plate way too crowded, salad mostly stacked on top of crepes, making for a hot salad. The crepes themselves were well done but the filling was chicken chunks, a tiny bit of spinach , lots of cherry tomatoes and lots of sage seasoning. The accompanying sauce in a cup was too thick to pour, there was no spoon to spoon it on, all we had was a 3 tined fork so I tried to ‘dunk’ the crepes to get some flavor with no good results. Then to top it off, we had missed the tiny print on the coupon saying we needed to get two drinks to make the offer valid so the coupon was no good. What a way to cap off a bad experience.
Easy to please. Let’s face it….I’m easy to please if you do what you should. I have been to Mimi’s three times and I choose to go when it is not crowded. Ordering their specials have been good. 3 courses for $13.99 was the latest. Each time has been a good experience.
My husband and I both got salads….with rotted, wilting lettuce. I mean, how can you get that wrong?
Not bad. I’ve been to Mimi’s a few times now and it is alright. The primary crowd is middle age housewives which is easy enough to tell by the decor. Service has been hit or miss. I’ve only ever gone for breakfast so I can’t comment on the other food, but what I have had has been decent. I’d say maybe a step above Bob Evans and IHOP.
Hmm. Tough one. We cant say we didn’t like it…but saying we like it would be too nice. It was ok. The server was great. Nice guy. My started side salad and the bread before dinner was great. The menu was diverse, the prices were cheap and it was a nice atmosphere! e thought we finally found a gem of a restaurant! Till we got the food. It was super bland and cheap. Something i expect to cook my self. Instant mashed potatoes is right up my alley…im a lazy cook! Anyway…it wasn’t horrible. Might return and give it one more shot.
Ugh. Ever since Bob Evan’s got their paws on this chain, it has been all down hill. What a shame!
