Dinner, Monday 12/10. The ‘Ville is my go-to place to try new brews and snag the finest brews I’ve tried before, but I’m glad to say it’s also one of my preferred places to snag some high quality pub food. My brother and I came here for a random Kentucky Breakfast Stout tapping in the evening, and with a trek to the east side location quickly after our beers, we needed to fill our stomachs with something hearty. I went with a burger doused with a delightful bourbon BBQ sauce. I find the ‘Ville’s burgers to be hearty, cooked to just the right temperature, and free of that nasty greasy feeling you sometimes get after eating a 1/2 lb patty. Although this is first a bar, second a restaurant, the second does not come far behind the first!
Unbelievable. The menu is small but very good. Outstanding from the appetizers to the lobster pizza and chicken sliders. You come for the beer – 625 different ones – so the food doesn’t even have to be good, but it is. The beer selection is outstanding and you never know what will be on tap, but expect the unexpected. Oh, and didn’t I mention the 150 different whiskeys? You better get something to eat!
