I’ve ordered here since I moved to Westerville. Great place to get food from. I like them because they deliver, and FAST! They always say 30 minutes, but within 15 they’re knocking on my door with HOT, Fresh food. I have to say, and I do very freely, This is one of the best Chinese Places I’ve had inside Ohio. I travel alot for work so I know what I’m talking about. Not the cheap chinese you usually find at other places, these guys are the real deal!
I just left the China Taste where I witnessed the following: at first , when I placed my order for a dinner combo there were two men one middle aged w a white coat and the other , elderly, w an orange hat. I have never been there before and won’t again. The white coat acted as the cook. He sneezed while holding a cooking utensil in his right hand. He wipes his nose w his bare left hand. He stirs the wok w the utensil. Some rice sticks to the utensil. He brushes it off w his bare LEFT hand. The one he used to wipe his nose. Not buying anything here again. First and last time
China Taste is a pretty basic Chinese place that consistently turns out good (fresh) food at fair prices. My fam has tried many of their dishes (beef, chicken or pork), including chow mein, lo mein, chop suey, Szechuan, Hunan, kung pao, plus meat & veggies w/ basic brown sauce. We’ve also had their soups, several appetizers and a few chef’s specials. In general, we like anything that they stir-fry. Our favorite dish is the beef w/ pepper & tomato, followed by Szechuan chicken. The kids love the beef w/ string beans, lo mein and sweet & sour chicken. Alternatively, we’re not fans of the lemon chicken (overcooked in the deep frier), and I don’t have a strong feeling on the General Tso’s or the seafood items. Bottom line: if you like Chinese stir-fry or old-school dishes (chow mein, chop suey), then there’s a good chance that you’ll find things on their menu that you like..including the prices.
Yummm. One of the best carryout Chinese places around. I always request white meat chicken. We travel an extra 10 miles to pick up our food here.
Very Disappointing. The empty store should have been a clue… The egg rolls were almost empty shells, the fried wontons were burnt (and with no noticeable filling), and the chicken fried rice was – well, chicken and rice. Pale, rubbery chicken, pale rice, and no vegetables to speak of. It went into the trash can. The cashew chicken’s broccoli was overcooked, the ingredients were not fresh, and the chicken was poor quality. A very disappointing carry-out experience, and we will not be going back. Ever.
I was very cautious at first, after a very bad experience at another Dublin strip-mall Chinese joint, but China Taste is good! I’ve gotten take out a couple dozen times from them now, and it’s always delicious.
